Hunter’s Lodge is located in Aberdeen, on the edge of the Plains of Camdeboo, ideally situated for groups of hunters, hikers, tourists and large families. It is affordable, clean, and comfortable, and fully equipped for self-catering. Sleeps up to 11 people.

Situated just 51 km from Graaff-Reinet in the heart of the Eastern Karoo, the town of Aberdeen will immediately let you feel at home as you wind down to the relaxed pace of country life. The Aberdeen Self-catering Guest House offers two immaculate guest units. We want every guest who stay over at our guest homes, to have a pleasant experience and continue their journey well rested. Komfort in the Karoo. Centrally located, Kamdebo Self Catering has two very comfortable, fully equipped, clean apartments, the smaller one sleeping three and the larger one five. Both are non-smoking units, but they share a small, secluded garden with a braai (wood and utensils provided). Secure parking behind locked gates is provided for both units. Pets welcome by prior arrangement.

Karoo Moons

The urban chic style oasis and understated elegance of Karoo Moons welcomes the weary traveler with luxurious en-suite rooms and a tranquil environment. Relax and unwind on the wide Victorian verandas, or spend the day exploring the surrounding Karoo mountain areas. Return to be indulged with fine foods and wine from the wine cellar. Desigend by the architect Steinhobel, this impressive Victorian/Edwardian building has 2 corner towers, both of German Gothic style, but different from each other.

A magnificent example of a victorian ostrich barons home - "Volstruis Paleis" - has been lovingly restored to its original ambience with tasteful period furnishings. Original pressed ceilings with intricate decorative painted surfaces. The sumptuous Blueroom with its en-suite bathroom is a treat. Two lounges, each with its own imposing marble fireplace for winter evenings. Weather permitting, breakfast is served on the patio overlooking a large tranquil garden filled with rich bird life. English, Afrikaans and German spoken.

The original homestead of the town. Accommodation comprises 3 large en-suite rooms, 1 large bedroom and 1 smaller bedroom, both with their own bathrooms. Tea and coffee is provided in the rooms. Lounge with DSTV, swimming pool, barbeque (braai) facilities and professional Swedish massage in the privacy of your room on request. Dinner requirements to be arranged when booking while light meals can be served during the day with prior arrangement.

Tohito Bed & Breakfast

Set in a large English style garden, Tohito is a 3 star S.A. Tourism Board graded and AA recommended establishment with 3 en-suite rooms, one of which is a garden cottage. With fine Karoo cuisine on offer and additional meals are served on request, the establishment has secure off-road garage parking and a large Karoo-style cement dam to cool off in during the summer months. Great hospitality and reasonable tariffs.
